FUTURE PLANS

 

THE FUTURE IS NOW!!

 

1.  WE ARE CURRENTLY COMPLETING THE PHASE ONE PROJECT OF OUR BUILDING PROJECT.  IT INCLUDED:

    

          A.  GRADING FIFTEEN ACRES

          B.  BUILDING TWO DETENTION PONDS TO CONTROL WATER RUNOFF

          C.  CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER PLUS ASPHALT PAVING OF ONE HUNDRED SIXTY PARKING SPACES, PLUS TWO DRIVES TO SERVICE THE NEEDS OF ATTENDEES.

          D.  A WELL-DEFINED PERIMETER ROAD TO ACCESS THE REAR OF THE CHURCH PROPERTY, INCLUDING THE SOFTBALL COMPLEX AND THE LARGE STORAGE BUILDING.  THIS ROAD WILL BE PAVED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

          E.  PAVED DRIVE TO BECHAM HALL, OUR FELLOWSHIP HALL AS WELL AS A SMALL PAVED PARKING AREA FOR SENIORS AND THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

          F.  AN UNDERGROUND IRRIGATION SYSTEM TO SERVICE THE FIFTEEN AREAS IN AND AROUND THE PARKING LOT WHERE VEGETATION AND LANDSCAPING WILL REQUIRE REGULAR WATERING.

          G.  THE INSTALLATION OF FIFTEEN METAL HALIDE PARKING LOT LIGHTS TO ALLOW SAFE ENTRANCE AND EGRESS ON DARK NIGHTS.  UNLESS REQUIRED, THE LIGHTS ARE OTHERWISE TURNED OFF.

          H.  SIDEWALKS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED TO ENABLE SAFE ACCESS TO BUILDINGS AND PARKING LOT.

          I.  NEW STEEL ENTRANCE/ EXIT DOORS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN THE MAIN BUILDING.

          J.  THE PLAYGROUND HAS BEEN RELOCATED TO AN AREA IMMEDIATELY WEST OF THE MAIN BUILDING, INCLUDING THE ADDITION OF A VERSATILE PIECE DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR PRESCHOOLERS.

          K. MANY PALLETS OF SOD AND ROLLS OF GRASS EITHER HAVE BEEN PUT INTO PLACE OR ELSE WILL BE SO WHEN THE SPRINGTIME WEATHER IS CONDUCIVE TO SURVIVAL OF THE GRASS.  ALSO, IN KEEPING WITH THE LANDSCAPING PLAN, MANY OTHER TREES AND SHRUBS WILL BE PLANTED TO BEAUTIFY THE PROPERTY.

          L.  A NEW PORCH HAS BEEN POURED IMMEDIATELY IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE DOORS TO THE CHURCH, SOON TO BE FOLLOWED BY NEW GLASS DOORS, DORIC COLUMNS, AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS RELATED TO PLANNED IMPROVEMENTS TO THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING.

 

2.  IN SEQUENCE, WE WILL INSTALL A NEW COMPUTERIZED SIGN AT THE ENTRANCE, INSTALL A PORTICO IN FRONT OF THE CHURCH, INSTALL A NEW ARCHITECTURAL ROOFING SYSTEM ON THE MAIN BUILDING, RENOVATE THE FOYER AND HALLWAYS, DO COSMETIC IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SANCTUARY, MAKE MAJOR UPGRADES TO THE SOUND SYSTEM, RENOVATE THE REST ROOMS AND SUCH.

 

3.  THE WORK PERFORMED ABOVE WILL SERVE AS  PREPARATION AND REQUIRED ENGINEERING PREREQUISITES FOR FUTURE BUILDINGS IN OUR PLAN, INCLUDING DAY CARE FACILITY, ADDITIONAL EDUCATIONAL SPACE, SANCTUARY AND FELLOWSHIP BUILDING, AND SUCH.

 

WE HAVE PROFESSIONAL DRAWINGS AND RENDERINGS OF THESE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS AND EXPANSION PROJECTS AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW IN THE CHURCH OFFICE.
